We stayed at this campground because we could not get into the North Rim Campground. The campground is all packed red mud with some gravel, and it rained on and off for 2 days, so everything stayed wet. The sites are large and our site, 33, was a pull through with great views of the forest. The hosts, Tim and Tom were very nice and friendly.The North Rim is a 220-mile/4.5-hour drive from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
