After many hours of troubleshooting, including visit from ATT tech, all signs point to an issue with this new version of firmware, rolled out automatically in recent weeks. I have tried but unable to determine exactly when update was installed on my device but from memory I think the ...About 1% loss rate over 5mins averaged even on the local interface. Pinging the UniFi switches between me and the UDM Pro also doesn't result in any packet loss at all until I get to the UDM Pro (all-wired so this is not a WiFi / radio issue).
