With bulky powders (like Clays or Red Dot) people often use the standard AA or CB1118 for 1 ounce if they are using AAHS hulls. Titewad is not a bulky powder. and the volume of a Remington hull is much closer to the old AA CF hulls than the new HS. I don't use it but have advised local shooters short on powder of its availability.My goal is to try to load 7 1/2-8 shot at 1200 fps for trap. I have some Shooters World Clean Shot for loading 45 ACP. Their load data is limited to a 1 1/8 oz load with size 8 shot. I was trying to widen my range for reloading, so I was looking at the load data on Hodgkin site for Titewad powder. J, With Gun Club hulls, Fiocchi primers, Claybuster CBO17812 (Gray) wad and 7/8 oz of shot I use a #28 bushing in a MEC that drops about 17.4 grains of TiteWad. Using it for league trap (22 yards max) and sporting clays, nice load for me. My 7/8 oz bar actually only drops about 360 grains of shot so ...I use an adjustable charge bar but the bushing chart for 15.0grns of tightwad is a 21. you can also consider moving up to 1 ounce and loading to 7/8 powder data, makes a low recoil, low velocity load.
